Loan installment and interest suspension -  COVID-19
 
Dear Customer, 
 
Our Bank responding to the adverse conditions due to the Covid-19 pandemic and based on the Decree issued by the Ministry of Finance on 30 March 2020, amended on 7th May 2020, under which the obligation to pay installments on facilities granted by financial institutions, including the relevant interest, is suspended for the entities considered Eligible* who wish so, would like to inform you of the following: 

*Eligible entities are physical persons, legal persons of public interest, self-employed and businesses which on 29 February 2020 had no arrears of more than 30 days for the specific credit facility, but are facing financial difficulties as a result of the effects of  COVID – 19 pandemic. It is also clarified that, eligible entities who on 29 February 2020 had arrears of more than 30 days in the repayment of their installment but have in the meantime and up and until 30 March 2020 have settled their installments in such a way so that there are no installments of more than 30 days on 30 March 2020, may also apply for the suspension of their obligation to pay their installments and interest of the specific credit facility.

Applications for the loan installment suspension should be sent the latest by 26 June 2020, either by email/fax that corresponds to the Unit you belong or by mail, as follows:

REVISION OF THE GENERAL TERMS OF EUROBANK CYPRUS

Eurobank Cyprus Ltd has updated the General Terms Governing the Relationship between Customer – Bank. The revision is mainly in reference to the introduction of Instant Credit Transfers and the introduction of Visa+ Service. Changes were additionally made to the Privacy Notice, which forms an integral part of the General Terms. The revised General Terms and will take effect on 08.01.2025.

Andreas Petsas named new CEO of Eurobank Cyprus

Eurobank Cyprus’ Board of Directors, decided to appoint Mr Andreas Petsas as a Member of the Board of Directors and as the Bank’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), in a meeting held on 17 September 2024 in Nicosia.
